Release – Infosec OPML List 1.0
by Jose NazarioOne things I built for myself a number of years ago is Infosec Daily, an information security news aggregation site. I had to keep abreast of sites and topics and I found that it was easier to build an application to do it than to keep trying to dig up the latest story when I needed to figure something out.
More than 200 news sites are aggregated together and sorted by time. They are partially broken out by vulnerabilities, malware, updates and then general news. It helps me keep current and I can peek in a few times a day and get a full picture. Part of the site tracks bloggers in the infosec space. Some of the best information I have found comes from diligent bloggers digging up information and providing analysis.
Because not everyone wants to read their news in a single website, let me share part of the feed list that backs Infosec Daily as an Outline Processor Markup Language (OPML) file. It is not as sorted as Infosec Daily is yet, but it’s a good place to start. You will see some good vulnerability feeds, some comments and some anti-virus and malware analysis sites. I hope you find this useful, it is one of the things I check every morning when I am doing an overnight news roundup. If you feel like sharing links, please do. I will try and maintain this OPML file with the latest additions. It’s obviously incomplete and I bet even some high profile bloggers are missing.

[...] RSS is the new crack I like RSS quite a lot, but I’ve still been beaten for sheer linkages by the very busy sounding Jose Narazio: More than 200 news sites are aggregated together and sorted by time.
