Arbor Networks: Security to the Core

I am currently in Mexico City for the Congreso Seguridad en Cómputo 2007 México, or the Computer Security Congress 2007 in Mexico. The team here, with organizers like Mirabel and Juan Carlos, always put on a great show. Right now Mikko is talking about the state of malware, the fight between “good … and evil …”. Always a great presentation. I think Lance James gave the translators fits earlier, he tends to speak very fast, and Perry gave a great description of phishing in 2007 earlier today. Other Mexico City speakers gave discussions of how they’re combating phishing and working on government and private industry partnerships to address the growing problems. My talk is up tomorrow, and I have to redo my slides! The content I was going to give isn’t sufficiently different from the other talks. Luckily I have a lot of data I can talk about.
